Visiting Professor of Saxophone Ann Bradfield joined the faculty Oklahoma State University as Visiting Professor of Saxophone in 2007. She also maintains a saxophone studio in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex where she is an active performer as a recital soloist as well as a chamber musician. She is a member of Citywalk saxophone quartet, an active chamber group that performs regularly in Texas and Oklahoma. Ms. Bradfield has recorded as principal saxophonist with the University of North Texas Wind Symphony under the direction of Eugene Corporon, including the educational series “Teaching Music through Performance in Band.” She is also the jazz lecturer for the summer program Celebration Iowa, a high school jazz performance group that tours the state of Iowa. Ms. Bradfield is a doctoral candidate in saxophone performance at the University of North Texas where she was competitively awarded a teaching fellowship in saxophone for three years. There she also earned a Master of Music in saxophone performance and Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies performance. Ms. Bradfield has also served on the faculty of Oklahoma Christian University. She has studied with John Vana, Chad Eby, Jim Riggs, David Lown, and Eric Nestler.
