Dr. Anne-Marie Condacse
Assistant Professor of Voice
Romanian-born soprano Anne-Marie Condacse began her musical training at the age of five as a violin major at the George Enescu School of Music, Bucharest, Romania. She was a resident artist of the George Enescu Philharmonic making radio and television appearances broadcast on Radio Difuziunea Romana and Televiziunea Romana. Ms. Condacse appeared as a guest soloist in productions with the National Romanian Opera, Ion Dacian Operetta Theater, the Oradea Lyric Theater, Woodlands Symphony, and the Moores Opera Center. She has also performed as a recitalist and concert artist throughout U.S., Romania, France, and Germany.
Ms. Condacse earned a Doctoral of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance from the Moore's School of Music, University of Houston, and a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Shepherd School of Music, Rice University, where she served also as a Teaching Assistant for studio applied voice.
For eight years, Ms. Condacse served on the music faculty for the North Harris Montgomery Community College District in the Houston, Texas area teaching courses in voice, vocal diction, vocal literature, music fundamentals, music appreciation, and opera workshop. She has also taught violin and applied voice for the Suzuki Academy in Spring, Texas. Ms. Condacse's students are consistently successful in musical programs throughout U.S., while pursuing degrees in Vocal Performance, Music Education and Musical Theater.
