Mezzo-Soprano, April Golliver, Assistant Professor of Voice at Oklahoma State University, holds a Master of Music from the prestigious Indiana University School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Oklahoma City University. In 2005, Ms. Golliver performed throughout the Czech Republic as alto soloist in Pergolesi's Stabat Mater. In 2003, she was a district winner at the Metropolitan Opera National Council District Competition held in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ms. Golliver made her professional debut with Des Moines Metro Opera. She has also made public appearances at the Aspen Music Festival and the Spoleto Vocal Arts Symposium in Spoleto, Italy. In 1988, she made her oratorio debut in Elijah under the conductor, Robert Porco.

Ms. Golliver's operatic credits include such roles as Carmen, Rosina, Erika, Madame Larina, Princess Clarissa, Alisa, and the Old Lady. Oratorio credits include Handel's Messiah, Bach's Christmas Oratorio, and Mendelssohn's Elijah. Upcoming engagements include performances with the Wichita Grand Opera, Light Opera Oklahoma, Tulsa Signature Symphony, and Canterbury Choral Society.

Ms. Golliver, a native of Oklahoma, is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, Tau Beta Sigma, Pi Kappa Lambda and the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
