Every music major (voice) is assigned to one of our five outstanding voice faculty members. Repertoire is studied each semester, and culminates in performances
for NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), OSU Opera roles, solos with one of the OSU choral ensembles, recitals, master classes with visiting
artist, and a myriad of other on and off campus opportunities.

(OSU Master of Music [voice] student) Stephen just received an assistantship to the University of Michigan for doctoral study in voice.
Oklahoma State University (as indicated above) competes VERY successfully with other colleges and universities! We swept the state this year, in fact.
Members of our voice faculty have (to name a few):
- Performed with the San Francisco Opera (Merola Program).
- Been a United States Fulbright Scholar (2010).
- Been and remain a Principal Artist with Light Opera Oklahoma.
- Performed with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of New York.
- Sang principal roles with the Mobile (Alabama) Opera in 2011.
- Published articles in the NATS Journal in 2011.
- Performed with the Cairo (Egypt) Opera in 2010.
- Performed with the prestigious Spoletto Vocal Arts Symposium in Italy.
